Can I get a DiMarzio® pickup with a custom winding or a different polepiece style from standard?
At this time we do not do custom winding or hardware. However, you may not be familiar with some of our older models that are no longer listed, and one of these models may be just what you need. Please call or email our technicians for advice.
Can I change my pickup's color?
Full-sized humbuckers with visible coils have a permanent, molded-in color that can not be changed. Most pickups for Strat and Tele replacement have replaceable covers that come in a variety of colors available here. Most other models have non-replaceable covers.
I installed one of your pickups and it's not really what I expected.

Does it matter which direction I install my pickup?
Most humbuckers are symmetrical and their sound does not change at all when installed backwards. Humbuckers that are not mentioned in this FAQ sound the same when installed in either direction.
How long does it take to get pickups in colors?
Generally, orders for pickups in colors take an extra day or two to leave our factory. As of 2020-2021, lead times may be further extended due to COVID-19.
What pickups do you make for Parker Fly?
In addition to the Parker Fly Custom Neck model PHWP1 and Parker Fly Custom Bridge model PWHP2, which are currently standard on most recent Flys, we also offer Fly versions of the Humbucker From Hell®, PAF®, PAF® bridge, PAF Pro®, PAF Joe™, FRED®, Mo' Joe™, Norton®, Air Norton™, Air Zone™, Tone Zone®, Breed™ neck and bridge models, Air Classic™ neck and bridge, Bluesbucker™, AT-1™, EJ Custom™ neck and bridge models and LiquiFire™.

Need a different method of shipping? Call or email us directly to order if you require a different shipping method (FedEx, DHL, etc). It is our policy to ship with insurance and to declare the full value of each package to the carrier upon shipment.
